That was then, This is now

So the saying goes, and I'm still not sure the inference that is meant by it. Ofcourse, that was then and this is now but what are we saying? What was is no longer? As for Reba Place Church nothing could be closer to the truth.

Reba Place Fellowship on the other hand has a remnant that still tries to maintain its original vision. Though in this writiers eyes RPC (Reba Place Church) diminishes RPF's existence. So that is my original statement. I have to take this in small bites because the then was 30 years ago and the now hangs under a cloud.

Hi John. Thank you for visiting my blog. No, I didn't go to the Reba Place reunion. I have some mixed feelings about my time there--both good and bad--and I didn't feel that I could participate in the event with a generous heart.

Are you still there?

Sorry, I should have read your comment more carefully. I see that you've moved to the Presbyterian Church. We're attending an Episcopal church now, and I finally feel at home.

Are you going to be using this blog as a way to sort through your Reba experience?
